The Cricket Inn - Beesands

The place was lovely little and restaurant was welcoming. The breakfast was delightful with full English etc-all done perfectly, and the English bar was a plus. The location was stunning and the stuff members were very friendly efficient people from the service and friendlyness of all the staff. Besides, the property was 3 km away from Sherman Tank.

It is reasonably priced. The hotel is situated in the central location on the sea front.

fine beach walks and delicious food make a perfect retreat

I loved how close the beach was, just a few steps away, and enjoyed waking up to sea views from my room while indulging in delicious meals prepared with fresh local fish each night.

Great seafood pancake for dinner, but the room was a bit small.

Amazing food & fabulous staff!

Wow, we had a blast! The food was very nice, especially the seafood. The staff were super friendly and just. Only bummer? Our room got a bit noisy with other guests being loud at night, tough to sleep. But the vibe here is just great!

A Hidden Gem with Ocean Views

The enchanting atmosphere of the restaurant, coupled with their mouthwatering dishes like home-smoked bacon, made our meals lovely. For fellow travelers, opt for the sea view rooms for a nice experience!

Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, with good poached eggs and fresh fruit, ensures a pleasant stay in a beautiful location with nearby beach access and free parking.

Everything was fantastic.

The location by the sea was beautiful and peaceful. Room 3 was cozy and immaculate. The window seat view was fine. The seafood pancake for dinner lived up to the hype, and breakfast was served by a super friendly staff member.

Spent two nights here and loved the fine sea view from our immaculate room. The kids enjoyed the delicious meals, especially breakfast, while our dog was welcomed too. The staff's friendliness.

The breakfast was very disappointing. The coffee was weak, and the sausage was overcooked. I expected more variety in the morning offerings, but it felt quite standard and unimpressive, especially considering the dinner menu's quality.

The sea view from my room was amazing, and the nautical-themed decor added a charming touch. The spacious layout was perfect for navigating easily, even for those with mobility challenges.

More seating in public areas would be nice.

Really good seafood and gorgeous coastal views

We just spent two nights in a Standard King Room with Sea View, and it was fantastic! The seafood on the menu was divine, especially the seafood pancake and the daily specials with locally caught fish. Plus, the room was super clean with fine views right over the sea. Only downside was the parking situation during peak times, as it can get tricky to find a space.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3rd stay, and the weather was lovely. The staff and the host were friendly, efficient, and attentive.- The superior king room was beautifully presented with a beautiful view and had all the essentials.- The hotel is in a central area right by the beach, with excellent rooms overlooking Start Bay.- The restaurant offers starters priced at £8-£10.
